As far as I understand I think the UK is the only country that has a TV licence and I think it should be scrapped. We now have SKY TV, Virgin Media cable TV and the internet. I just don’t see why we should have the licence fee which is £135 and some change. We’re paying for two channels BBC1&2 why should we continue to pay for a stealth tax we should get rid of the licence fee and let the BBC become a commercial organisation. What do you think? Do you agree with the licence fee or do you think its outdated and should get rid of it. I would be interested to read you opinions thank you.

I signed up to a 12 month Bt contract about 6 months ago and i intended to get Sky television aswell. However, after plenty of attempts i cannot get Sky due to a poor signal. I am in a cable area and would like to get Virgin Media TV but they insist you take their phone line also?

Would i be able to cancel my BT line with a small fee or would i have to continue paying them until the 12 months are up?

iv recently installed sky freesat on the tv in the living room, however i would like to be able to get it in my room aswell. im quite happy to get another box for my room but what im wondering is where would i plug the second cable to my room? as there is only one cable space on the dish itself. do you have adapters that let you connect more than 1 etc? also would i be able to watch diff channels upstairs to whats being watched downstairs? provided it will be different boxes. thanks
